Their Standards

The future war is not physical, but virtual. With the rise of social media invading most teens' lives, I hoped to use my art to portray its harmful impacts for teens. In my painting, I used acrylic paints to paint my face and several tiny cartoonish figures that hold various tools to “fix” me to fit their standards. These figures represent different social media platforms and the unattainable expectations that are imposed on teens.
