Kaylee wrote this poem about letting go of people who were not made for you.

My dear

You were not wrong

For needing someone

Who made you feel

As if you deserved to be loved

Because I know

You turn the pages

And replay the memories

Looking for something

To calm the anger

And hurt

The betrayal

All of the negative emotions

Not being able to let go

I know

I feel you

I understand you

You still have a good heart

Even if it’s filled with scars

And an aching soul

But you let him go

You allowed yourself

To be happy again

Even after

He couldn’t love you

It’s okay

That you were more to comprehend

Then he could handle

It’s okay

I understand
