Renewed Sky

When the day comes-

That the sun never sets around the globe,

And mankind embraces the macabre nature of

The death they have sentenced themselves to,

That is when she will come to reclaim her Earth.

The trees will collapse

The oceans will thrash

The flatlands will shriek

The sky will lament

The hills will convulse

The caves will languish

The glaciers will shatter

The whole Earth will sing out in a cacophony,

A choir of voices, big and small.

As the Great Mother cradles her child once more.
