Depression

Oh god, where are you

When I am in need of you,

When my heart aches with sorrow,

when it almost seems like

my world is crumbling apart.

When it all seems so familiar

Yet Unfamiliar, when it feels

like being shattered into pieces,

When the smallest words they say,

Pierce my heart. Oh god,

Where are you? I seek you.

Sometimes, I question myself,

“Why do I live?” And I seek

the answer, trying to hear,

the smallest voice trying,

to give me hope, I try, try

and try, just to fail - Lost

All the negative thoughs,

forming like ominous,

Black clouds, inside my mind,

Eating me up, draining me,

Leaving me alone for eternity.

Oh god, where are you?
